We were told when we got Anthony that he was about 25lbs.. He has felt like he was about 40lbs though! Ha. I wasn't used to lugging around a child and didn't have the gradual weight increase from infant weight to a 1 year old! SO, I was surprised at his appointment when they told me he was only 20lbs!!! Actually 20lbs 12 oz and in the 25th percentile. He is 29 1/4 inches tall and in the 40th percentile. :) His head remains a concern. Since the trauma, it hasn't grown at the same rate as his body, so his head is not even on the chart. :( This is something I am asking you pray about as his head MUST grow for his brain to grow and develope. This was very disappointing news. His head measured 42 cm.
He got 1 immunization and did great! He cried for a few seconds is all. He has a minor ear infection in both ears and was prescribed some antibiotics for that. Tate has a nasty cough and didn't get to go to preschool today. He as bummed.
Then, from there he instantly fell asleep in the car. We drove through McDonald's for lunch to cheer Tate up about not being able to go to preschool...it worked. :) Plus, he was now going to have to endure 2 more appointments of Anthony's today that I had originally scheduled while he'd be at preschool. We went to his Osteopathic Manipulation appointment after a quick lunch, then from there went to American Prosthetics to do some modifications on his helmet so his glasses fit better with it. It made a HUGE difference! Hallelujah! :)
So please pray for his head to grow...this is a huge thing for his progression. Thank you!!!
