Working on self feeding...

...with chocolate.

Cason's OT came today to work on his self feeding skills. He is definitely delayed in this area. He has really improved upon what he will eat and being able to chew and not gag on things aside from baby food. This is great! However, now he is needed to learn to bring his hand up to his mouth to eat something or bring a spoon up to his mouth.

The OT recommended we start with something he would really like...I assumed he would like chocolate since, well...who doesn't like chocolate?! :) So I tried Oreo Chocolate Pudding.

I assumed right...

He liked it...a lot.

I think he might like Occupational Therapy!

Because of it, he gets to keep working on his self feeding skills and chocolate seemed to do the trick today. So I see more chocolate in Cason's future!
