Anthony's better!

Anthony turned a corner today and was feeling SO MUCH better. He took an almost 3 1/2 hour nap this morning when I'm lucky if his morning nap is an hour! He woke up a new kid! So we ran errands...just Anthony, Tate and I. And let me tell you, BOTH boys were amazing! First of all, Anthony wore his helmet all day long and you never would have known he just got it. It didn't bother him one bit. :) His hair was soaking wet when we removed it at dinner time though and he WAS pretty happy once it was off, but he did great. Tomorrow starts the dreaded wearing it all the time routine. Although, he only wore it for an hour yesterday as they are not to wear it when they are feverish and he was most of the day, so I kind of have adjusted the schedule a bit and may keep the helmet on him from morning until night tomorrow and then let him sleep without if one last night and then start the 23 hours/day on Wednesday. We'll see. I think it's harder for ME to deal with than him!

We did get LOTS of stares and smiles and comments when we were out running our errands. I mean, the helmet is like NEON yellow and then you add the glasses over top of it and he kind of stands out! Plus, he's totally cute. :) He and Tate were in their Hawkeye gear today and just looked adorable. I cannot wait for his helmet to be painted next week so it's not so bright! Although, it will stand out just as much...the artists we're having do it are amazing and I know it's going to stand out as an impressive helmet! :) I am fine with that...I like to stand out. :)

Anyway, after Anthony's 3 1/2 hour nap this morning and then a day full of running errands, it was 5:30pm before I knew it and I didn't want him to nap at that point because he goes down by 7:30ish. So I gave him a bath, let him splash around until he was rubbing his eyes and almost asleep in the tub and got him in his jammies, fed him a bottle and he was OUT by 6:45pm. So funny how I can say that Tate has NEVER in his life done that. Having Anthony just solidifies the fact that Tate is just plain and simple the worst sleeper ever. Has been since day 1! Ha...these 2 boys are totally different in so many ways, but boy do they love each other to death! :)

Anthony's 1 yr Well Child appointment is tomorrow morning! Do they get immunizations at 1 year? I can't even remember?! I hope not...he's had a rough enough week as it is! I'll post his stats sometime tomorrow. :)
