I am starting to think that every week is going to be a crazy week from here on out! :) This adoption stuff is an emotional rollercoaster! And honestly, the weeks FLY by and I never know what day it is.
Anthony gets his helmet tomorrow!!! Hooray! Hopefully it will be painted within a few days so it's stylish. :) I will definitely post pictures! He has physical therapy tomorrow in addition to his helmet fitting and then occupational therapy on Friday. So the rest of our week is pretty open in regards to his appointments...1 a day is good. :) In fact, 2 a day isn't too bad either. I am feeling adjusted already though...just kind of used to all the appointments and therapists and doctors. I like to be busy, so this is right up my alley! Ha.
We got a couple bits of news yesterday. Some of the news was overwhelming and shocking and caught us off guard to say the least (more and that once we know more...sorry to leave you hanging) and the other bit of news was AMAZING and relieving and wonderful. THAT news is that a family member who was hoping to get Anthony (who we felt very confident would not be able to, but still had worries) was not approved to be able to get him. This was the news we were waiting for since we got Anthony. We knew the details and weren't completely terrified that it would happen, but it was always in the back of our minds. So this was a major relief! All in all, it was a good day! :)
I'm hoping that the helmet fitting goes well tomorrow and that physical therapy goes well also and I can call tomorrow a good day too.
Anthony turns 1 on Saturday!!!! We are looking forward to a small celebration to celebrate him. :)
